The grapes for this wine are grown in the vineyards in D.O. Es Pla y Llevant. The ground here is softer and sandy forcing the roots of the vines to dig deeper in order to reach the necessary minerals and water needed for their survival. The warm summers and chilly winters of these parts provide an ideal climate and assure a very high level quality of grapes.
For this rosé wine the local variety Mantonegro is used, which helps to create a typically Mallorcan, dark pinkish colour to the liquid and aromas of wild strawberries. The “Horas de Sol Rosado”is a wine full of character with and intense fruit notes. This wine is great combined with tapas or seafood, but also just as good on its own!
