This vintage is made with a higher percentage of Chardonnay, (found and grown mainly around the famous viticultural site of Binissalem in the centre of the island,) giving the wine a more classical, mineral style with good acidity and structure and setting it apart from other wines of the region. The unique “Call Vermell” soil found here, provides the vines with high amounts of calcium, and the stony ground serves as an excellent water reservoir for the roots.
Blended with 40% of the indigenous Mallorcan variety Prensal Blanc, the wine is complemented with the distinctive elements of tropical fruits and flowers so characteristic to this grape and produces a well balanced and fresh liquid, with great minerality and a structured, salty finish.
This white wine is a great accompaniment to tapas, fish and seafood. A chilled bottle, with some fresh fish or snacks and the day is complete!
